Cooking Instructions

Soak rice for 10–15 minutes (optional). For enhanced taste, add 2 teaspoons of oil or 1 tablespoon of butter and a pinch of salt for each dry cup of rice prepared (optional).

To reduce excess starch, rinse Royal® Ponni Boiled Rice 1–2 times and drain excess water before cooking.

For FIRMER RICE, use less water and reduce cooking time. For SOFTER RICE, use more water and increase cooking time.
