Cooking Instructions

Rinse split pigeon peas well before cooking.

Add 1 cup split red lentils, 3 cups water and 1 tsp salt (optional) to a large pot.

Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer.

Cover and cook until tender (about 15-20 minutes).
