Transform your fried chicken and upgrade your Biryani with this Indian fusion recipe using Royal Hyderabadi Biryani Kits!
Ingredients
Biryani Kit:
- Hyderabadi Biryani Kit
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- Shishito peppers, 1 cup
Fried Chicken:
- Chicken wings, 2 lbs
- Biryani paste, 1 packet
Dry Batter:
- All-purpose flour, 1 cup
- Corn starch, 1/2 cup
Garnish:
- Sea salt
- Cilantro, chopped
- Thai chili pepper, finely chopped
- Kashmiri chili powder
Preparation
Biryani:
- Follow the directions on the Royal Biryani Kit.
- Caramelize the onion and add shishito peppers, if desired, before adding biryani paste.
Fried Chicken:
- Marinate the chicken wings for 1 hour with the biryani paste.
- Dredge and coat the chicken in the dry batter and let it sit and rest for 10 mins before frying in 350F oil until golden brown.
- Let the chicken rest on a wire rack once done and sprinkle salt and Kashmiri chili powder.
