Salmon with Avocado Dressing and Basmati Rice

Authentic Basmati Rice

Ingredients

1lb salmon

1 avocado diced

1 small tomato diced

1 lime

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper

1 pack  Royal® Microwaveable Basmati rice

Preparation

  1. Pat the salmon dry the drizzle with olive oil and season with the chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Gently pat the seasoning in.
  2. Grill the salmon or cook on the stovetop for about 4 minutes per side, until cooked through.
  3. Make the avocado salsa by mixing the avocado, tomato, juice from the lime, a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Layer the salmon over the rice and top with avocado salsa.
