Ingredients
Pork Chops (boneless or bone-in), 4 filets
Soy Sauce, 1/3 cup
Honey, 1/3 cup
Garlic, 1 teaspoon, minced
Ginger, 1 tablespoon, finely chopped
Red Wine Vinegar, 2 tablespoons
Scallions, 1, finely chopped
Salt & Pepper, to taste
Olive Oil, 1 tablespoon
Royal® Lemon, Garlic, & Herb Basmati Rice, 1 pack
Preparation
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, red wine vinegar, scallions, salt and pepper. Set it aside.
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Place in a large bowl.
- Pour the honey ginger marinade over the pork chops. Let stand for 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet. Once the skillet is hot, place the pork chops on the skillet and let sear for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Pour the marinade over the seared pork chops. Cook for 7-9 minutes, or until the chops are cooked through. Baste the pork chops with the marinade while they cook.
- Once cooked, place the pork chops on a plate and let them rest before slicing.
- Reduce the marinade in the skillet for 3-4 minutes or until it is thick yet pourable.
- Heat up your Royal® Lemon, Garlic & Herb Basmati Rice pack.
- Assemble and enjoy with your favorite veggies on the side!
