Ingredients
1 pack Royal® Microwavable Lemon, Garlic and Herb pack
2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each), skin-on
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Fresh lemon slices, for garnish (optional)
Fresh herbs (such as parsley or dill), chopped, for garnish
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil to prevent sticking.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with fresh herbs. Stir well to combine.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of each salmon fillet, coating them evenly.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork. The cooking duration might differ depending on the thickness of the salmon fillets.
- Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the oven. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and chopped herbs if desired.
- Follow the instructions on the pack to heat the Microwavable Lemon, Garlic and Herb. This typically involves squeezing the pouch to separate grains, tearing both sides to vent and microwaving for 90 seconds. Caution: Pouch will be hot. Careful when handling.
- Serve the buttery lemon herb salmon hot, accompanied by your favorite Microwavable Lemon, Garlic and Herb rice.
Note: Adjust the cooking time if your salmon fillets are thicker or thinner than average. Ensure the internal temperature of the salmon reaches 145°F (63°C) for safe consumption.
