Zucchini and rice fritters

These zucchini and rice fritters are perfect to snack on when watching Cricket. You can serve them as an appetizer, and they are definitely going to make everyone happy. The basmati rice makes a good binding agent, and the zucchini adds a nice flavor. Enjoy the crunch, with every bit making you want more!
Ingredients
1 and 1/2 cup shredded zucchini
1/2 cup chickpeas flour
3/4 cup cooked Royal® basmati rice
1/4 cup split roasted chickpeas (Dalia)
2 tsp red chili powder
Salt as needed
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp asafetida powder
2 cups oil to try
Preparation
- Shred zucchini and squeeze and strain the water out
- In a bowl combine zucchini and cooked rice (after it has cooled)
- Then add split roasted chickpeas, red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder, asafetida powder cumin seeds
- Add chickpea flour and slowly mix it together and form a thick dough
- Heat oil till in a frying pan
- Once the oil is hot, slowly drop spoonful to make pakoras
- Fry till they are crispy and brown on both sides
- Serve it along with chutney and enjoy then right away
