Basmati Rice with Pistachios, Honey and Mint

Ingredients

1 cup Royal® Chef’s Secret Long Grain Basmati Rice

13/4 cups water

Pinch of salt

3 tablespoons Honey

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoons GrapeOla® Grapeseed Oil

1 cup chopped fresh mint leaves

3/4 cup chopped roasted pistachios

Preparation

  1. In a medium sauce pot, bring water to a boil. Add rice and salt and reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 15 minutes, or until water is absorbed.
  2. In a small bowl, combine honey, lemon juice, and oil. Toss the rice with mint, pistachios and honey dressing. Serve warm with fresh mint leaves.
