Zesty, fresh, and bursting with flavor, these Cilantro Lime Shrimp Tacos are a fun twist on classic Mexican street food. Juicy shrimp with lime and spices, then tucked into soft tortillas. Cilantro Lime Rice adds that bright, herby finish that makes every bite unforgettable.

Ingredients

  • 1 pouch Royal Cilantro Lime Rice
  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled & deveined (or thawed frozen)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning (or chili powder + cumin + garlic powder)
  • 6 small flour or corn tortillas

Optional toppings: Shredded lettuce, Avocado slices, Salsa, Sour Cream, Lime Wedges

Preparation

  1. Heat a skillet with olive oil/butter over medium-high heat. Warm the tortillas directly in the pan for 30–60 seconds per side, then set aside.
  2. In the same pan, toss the shrimp with taco seasoning and sauté until pink and cooked through (about 4–5 minutes).
  3. While the shrimp cooks, heat the Royal Cilantro Lime Rice in the microwave for 90 seconds—done in no time.
  4. Assemble tacos: rice in the tortillas, shrimp on top, and finish with your favorite toppings.
